Legal Internships

Internship applications for summer 2013 positions are due no later than January 18, 2013. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Applicants are encouraged to apply early, and selections may be made prior to January 18, 2013.

Internships are available in the following divisions:

  • Enforcement and Compliance
  • Bank Activities and Structure

These are unpaid positions for students who have completed their first or second year of law school. We consider the following factors in reviewing your application:

  • Academic record
  • A sincere interest in financial institutions law and enforcement
  • Top 25 percent of graduating class (preferred, not mandatory)
  • Relevant course work in financial institutions law, securities law, commercial law, administrative law, trial practice, etc.
  • Law school activities such as Law Review, clinical programs, moot court, and judicial clerkships, and financial institutions-related work experience (legal or business)
