PURPOSE

This advisory letter announces a new Internet-based service
provided by the Federal Financial Institutions Examination
Council's (FFIEC) Appraisal Subcommittee (ASC).  The OCC
anticipates that this service will enable you to manage your real
estate lending and appraisal processes more efficiently.  Please
refer to the attached for a complete explanation of this new
service.
