Remedial Action

If the OCC determines that a CEDE, CD project, or other public welfare investment violates a law or regulation, is inconsistent with the safe and sound operation of the bank, or poses a significant risk to the bank deposit insurance fund, the OCC will require the bank to take appropriate remedial action. The bank could be required to reduce or withdraw its investment in the CEDE or CD project.
