Total End–of–Month Foreclosures in ProcessForeclosures in process totaled 283,988 at the end of March. Subprime mortgages comprised almost 33 percent of total foreclosures in process, while representing less than 9 percent of the total number of mortgages. Conversely, prime mortgages comprised 30 percent of all foreclosures, while representing 62 percent of the total servicing portfolio.
