Energy Lending

The business of energy lending encompasses a wide range of energy-related financing. Examples include financing for oil and gas reserves, solar financing, solar farm financing, wind capital, wind farm financing, renewable and sustainable energy financing, and biomass fuels financing. Of concern to banks in this area is the fluctuation of energy-related prices over time and in response to global events.
