Ajay Palvia

Financial Economist

Ajay Palvia is a Financial Economist in the Policy Analysis Division of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

Dr. Palvia’s research interests include financial institutions, corporate governance, corporate finance, and industrial organization.

Dr. Palvia joined the OCC in 2007 after completing a doctorate in economics from Cornell University. He also holds a master's degree in computer science from Penn State University and a bachelor of science in mathematics from Boston University.
