Alysa V. Shcherbakova is a Financial Economist in the Credit Risk Analysis Division of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).

Dr. Shcherbakova’s current research interests include credit and market risk modeling, corporate and investment finance, and regulatory design.

Before joining the OCC, Dr. Shcherbakova completed her doctorate in economics at Emory University. She also holds a master of business administration and bachelor degrees in mathematics and economics from Willamette University.

Her fields of interest include credit risk modeling, market risk modeling, banking regulation, and applied econometrics.
