National Banks and Thrift Savings Associations
A national bank is a financial institution chartered and regulated by the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
Check the List of National Bank Operating Subsidiaries on OCC’s Web site HelpWithMyBank.gov.
To search by specific bank name, the Federal Financial Institutions Examinations Council (FFIEC) offers a financial institution search.
If your bank is not a national bank, you should contact the appropriate regulator.
