The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco are sponsoring a forum on December 15, 2022. Wildfires continue to cause economic, infrastructural, and personal devastation to Northern California. The Mosquito, Mountain, Six Rivers, and Coyote wildfires burnt over 120,000 acres, destroyed more than 100 structures, and caused physical and economic injury to local communities. Federal, state, and local agencies are prepared to share financial assistance and resources with community partners capable of helping distribute aid to households and small businesses affected by these wildfires. Presenters will provide opportunities to collaborate on wildfire recovery and resiliency. This forum is designed for financial institutions, community development financial institutions, foundations, and other community stakeholders actively supporting or interested in supporting wildfire recovery and rebuilding. The forum will focus on fostering sustainable partnerships that result in an expanded and fair distribution of aid for affected low- and moderate-Income communities. Register here. For more information on registration, please contact Community Affairs Beth Castro with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency.
