Maryland Rural Small Business Lending Forum

The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond are sponsoring an in-person forum on June 27, 2023, in Hagerstown, Md. The event is focused on bank-community organization partnerships to address small business lending needs in rural Maryland communities. Rural small business development lending requires creativity, collaboration, and the ability to balance multiple organizational priorities within the context of today’s post-COVID pandemic economy. This half-day session will provide insight into the state of rural small business development and highlight how financial institutions, community-based organizations, and other entities serving rural small businesses can leverage various products and programs to meet evolving small business development needs.
