Shared National Credits (SNCs)

The Shared National Credit Program (SNC), an interagency program designed to review and assess risk in the largest and most complex credits shared by multiple financial institutions, originated in 1975. The program provides uniform treatment of and increases efficiencies in SNC risk analysis and classification.
