Eric Hirschhorn is a Financial Economist in the Enterprise Risk Analysis Division within the Economics department of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
Dr. Hirschhorn joined the OCC in 2011 from the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS). Prior to working at the OTS, he worked at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. His research interests include operational risk, credit risk, and stress testing. He holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Chicago, a master’s in economics from SUNY Binghamton and a bachelor’s from Northwestern University.
