Michael R. Brickman is the Acting Senior Deputy Comptroller for the Office of Management at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
In this role, Mr. Brickman is responsible for the OCC's departments of financial management, human capital, administrative operations, and information technology.
He previously served as the Deputy Comptroller for Novel Bank Supervision, Technology Service Provider Supervision, Thrift Supervision, and Special Supervision in Midsize and Community Bank Supervision.
Mr. Brickman began his career with the Office of Thrift Supervision (OTS) as an examiner in Kansas City, Mo., in 1998. At the OTS, he held numerous positions, including Conglomerate Examiner—Complex and International Organizations, Senior Advisor to the Managing Director of Supervision, and Director for Regional Activities.
In 2011, Mr. Brickman joined the OCC as a Director for Special Supervision. He has also worked as an Associate Deputy Comptroller in Midsize Bank Supervision and Acting Deputy Comptroller in the Southern District.
Mr. Brickman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from the University of Kansas.
