What plays a critical role in the safety, soundness, and long-term performance of banking institutions? Asset management. Join OCC professionals and fellow directors, senior management, and key executives of trust companies and commercial banks for a comprehensive overview of asset management activities and related risks. We’ll discuss the importance of robust audit risk assessments on fiduciary activities and strategic objectives and examine in-house and outsourced internal audit functions. We’ll also cover key regulations and compliance obligations, emerging issues, and industry trends, including digital assets and third-party relationships. You’ll learn how to identify, assess, and manage the various—and evolving—risks in asset management.
Work with and learn from experienced OCC examiners who lead this workshop, which includes discussions of best practices, lectures, and hands-on exercises designed for directors and senior management of national community banks and federal savings associations.
